Morris Dunnigan, of Joliet West, is the Herald-News Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Dunnigan scored 25 of his game-high 32 points in the second half as the Tigers beat Joliet Central 60-49. He shot 7-of-9 from the field and was 10-of-13 from the free-throw line in the second half. Dunnigan also limited Central’s Jonah Coble to just six points on 1-of-13 shooting. Dunnigan also had 11 rebounds.
