Warwick finished 23rd in the state last season as a junior, averaging 209 as the Indians finished second as a team. This season, she’s helped Minooka to titles in the Palatine Invitational, Plainfield North Strikefest and Reavis Invitational.
How excited are you about your chances this postseason?
I’m really excited. It’s my senior year, and I’m looking to do well to the end. I think we have a good shot.
After finishing second last season, is it state title or bust?
Yeah, kind of. That’s definitely our main overall goal. Our expectation every year is to make it to state. This year, we don’t want to just make it. We want to push ourselves to win it.
Are you extra motivated after coming so close last season?
Definitely. Our number this year is 22. That’s how many pins we lost (to Andrew) by last year. That’s our motivation. Our coach (Frank Yudzentis) keeps saying “22! 22!”
What’s easier: Wii bowling or real bowling?
Real bowling, for sure. Wii bowling is so hard.
What’s on your iPod?
This is the most stressful question ever, because I love so many different kinds of music. Pierce the Veil is probably my most-played right now.
If you could take any celebrity to prom, who would it be?
Joe Jonas. I’ve just loved the Jonas Brothers ever since I was like 12. I’m pretty much obsessed. I love them.
If you had to go on one reality show, what would it be?
One of the “Real Housewives” shows. They seem to have all the money.
Doesn’t one of the Jonas Brothers have a reality show now?
Yes! “Married to Jonas,” with Kevin Jonas. That’s right. I should be on that show.
As told to Steve Millar
