Boys Basketball

Oak Forest 76, Lincoln-Way West 53: Hayden Witt posted 13 points for host West (1-18).

Lincoln-Way Central 56, Shepard 40: Brad Bass’ 22 points and 14 rebounds led host Central (8-10).

Plainfield North 60, Plainfield Central 46: Corey Evak scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to spark host Plainfield North (6-11, 4-3) in the Southwest Prairie.

Oswego 74, Romeoville 47: Armani Bonilla finished with 14 points to lead visiting Romeoville (4-15) in the Southwest Prairie.

Plainfield East 67, Plainfield South 64 (2 OTs): Roger Tating’s 20 points lifted host Plainfield East (8-10, 5-2)in the Southwest Prairie. Plainfield South dropped to 5-14, 2-5.

Gardner-So. Wilmington 71, Beecher 66 (3 OTs): Tristan Noonan scored 20 points and Cody Harvey added 19 for visiting Gardner-South Wilmington (1-19, 1-7) in the River Valley.

Interstate Eight Tournament

No. 8 Seneca 43, Herscher 34: Peyton Schrag scored 13 points and Conlan Callahan added 10 to guide Seneca (17-3) in the semifinal at Reed-Custer.

Coal City 62, No. 10 Wilmington 37: Nick Peters totaled 18 points as Coal City (11-9) advanced to the fifth-place game. Dan O’Leary provided 18 points for Wilmington (11-11).

Reed-Custer 72, Plano 66: Udo Agomo scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to put Reed-Custer (12-8) in the fifth-place contest.

Girls Basketball

No. 2 Bolingbrook 57, Sandburg 29: Kristen Moore had 17 points and five rebounds to pace host Bolingbrook (15-5, 9-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

No. 3 Joliet Catholic 56, No. 8 Lemont 35: Nicole Ekhomu scored 12 points to lead host Joliet Catholic (18-4). Jasmine Lumpkin and Christina Ekhomu added 11 points apiece for the Angels. Kim Jerantowski’s 10 points were the most for Lemont (12-10).

No. 4 Lincoln-Way East 58, Joliet West 48: Kara Krolicki contributed 21 points and Claire McMahon tacked on 15 to spark host Lincoln-Way East (16-3, 8-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Monica Barefield led Joliet West (5-15, 2-7) with 17 points.

No. 5 Romeoville 51, Oswego 34: Kiera Currie totaled 18 points and 10 rebounds for host Romeoville (21-3, 10-0) in the Southwest Prairie.

Wilmington 67, Donovan 25: Tiffany Nugent, Lauren Homerding and Theresa Homerding all scored 12 points for host Wilmington (8-12).

Oswego East 50, Minooka 44: Sam Wurtz netted 17 points for visiting Minooka (8-16, 5-5) in the Southwest Prairie.

Homewood-Flossmoor 61, Lockport 39: Naomi Mayes scored 15 points and Anna Novak had 11 for visiting Lockport (8-11, 3-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Plainfield North 53, Plainfield Central 40: Hennessey Handy scored eight points for visiting Plainfield Central (3-18, 0-10) in the Southwest Prairie.

Girls Bowling

Lemont, 1850, Richards 1,745: Nora Collins’ 246 game and 436 series propelled Lemont in the South Suburban crossover at Arena Bowl in Oak Lawn.

Oswego East 3,112, Plainfield Central 2,478: Kristine Countryman had a 254 game and three-game 637 series for Plainfield Central in the Southwest Prairie meet at Pioneer Lanes.

Wrestling

Coal City 48, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 21: Casey Brown had a pin at 120 pounds as visiting Coal City (24-4) set a school record for wins in a season.

Boys Swimming

Tinley Park 92, Lemont 78: Michael Diorio won the 500 free (5:28.54) for host Lemont in the South Suburban Blue.
