Girls Basketball
Homewood-Flossmoor 35, No. 5 Lincoln-Way East 32: Kara Krolicki had 14 points for host Lincoln-Way East (16-5, 8-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
No. 6 Coal City 32, No. 10 Seneca 31: Donjeta Shabani (20 points) split two free throws with six seconds left to win it for visiting Coal City (19-4, 7-1) in the Interstate Eight. Seneca slipped to 12-14, 6-3.
No. 7 Peotone 56, Manteno 39: Brittney Campione contributed 21 points and Kayla Paeth added 17 for visiting Peotone (18-7, 7-1) in the Interstate Eight.
Gardner-South Wilmington 56, Illinois Lutheran 33: Chelsea Schultz’s 20 points lifted host Gardner-South Wilmington (10-13, 7-4) in the River Valley. Breann Fisher added 14 points for the Panthers.
Sandburg 45, Joliet Central 26: Jauntece McNear had nine points Chavon Banks added 12 rebounds for host Joliet Central (4-20, 0-10) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Reed-Custer 50, Wilmington 44: Caitlyn Welch had 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead host Reed-Custer (7-15, 1-8) in the Interstate Eight.
Lincoln-Way Central 64, Joliet West 53: Candace Finnin (10 rebounds) and Kelsie Foster notched 20 points apiece for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (9-12, 4-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Rebecca Gorman added 11 rebounds for the Knights. Joliet West fell to 5-16, 2-8.
Boys Basketball
Sandwich 66, Dwight 61 (OT): Blake Huseman sank seven three-pointers and finsished with 28 points to lead host Dwight (6-15) in the Interstate Eight.
Interstate Eight Tournament
Plano 50, No. 10 Wilmington 48: Dan O’Leary scored 30 points to lead Wilmington (11-12) in the seventh-place game.
Manteno 52, Peotone 37: Gino Fanello scored eight points for Peotone (11-9) in the consolation championship.
Coal City 74, Reed-Custer 48: Jon West totaled 34 points to lead Coal City (12-9) in the fifth-place game.
Girls Bowling
Lockport 3,580, Plainfield North 3,040: Bri Zabierek had a 268 game and a 749 three-game series to pace Lockport.
Boys Swimming
Lincoln-Way East 93, Lincoln-Way Central 90: Andy Gramont won the 50-yard freestyle (22.85 seconds) and 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 2.65 seconds) to pace host Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
