Carl Terrell, of Joliet West, is the Herald-News Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Terrell not only scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half of the Tigers’ 56-47 victory over Lockport, he also hit four of five three-pointers. It was the spark that Joliet West’s offense needed to break the game open after scoring 11 points in the first half. Terrell was averaging 10 points per game going into the contest.
