Girls Basketball
No. 3 Bolingbrook 61, No. 5 Lincoln-Way East 25: Kennedy Cattenhead had 12 points to propel visiting Bolingbrook (20-5, 14-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Dana O’Grady finished with nine points for Lincoln-Way East (19-8, 10-4).
No. 6 Coal City 37, No. 7 Peotone 36: Emily Halliday totaled 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals to key visiting Coal City (22-6, 9-2) in the Interstate Eight. Caitlyn Crawford’s 12 points led Peotone (19-9, 8-3).
Andrew 61, No. 9 Lincoln-Way West 33: Tiana Karopulos had 19 points to lead host Andrew (20-5, 11-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Molly Franson added 15 points for the Thunderbolts and Nicole Dominguez scored 13. Lincoln-Way West dropped to 12-13, 6-7.
Sandburg 44, Lincoln-Way Central 37: Candace Finnin scored a game-high 17 points for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (9-15, 4-10) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Minooka 60, Plainfield Central 27: Larissa McLemen had 19 points to spark host Minooka (11-17, 8-6) in the Southwest Prairie.
Lockport 39, Joliet West 31: Morgan VanKuiken had 10 points and Nora Polaski added eight points and 11 rebounds to guide host Lockport (11-13, 6-7) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Joliet West fell to 6-19, 3-11.
Homewood-Flossmoor 73, Joliet Central 29: Myresha Peten scored 11 points and Chavon Banks grabbed 16 rebounds to lead visiting Joliet Central (4-24, 0-14) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Oswego East 51, Plainfield South 30: Brittany McWaine posted 14 points for host Oswego East (12-14, 7-7) in the Southwest Prairie.
Yorkville 51, Morris 26: Julie Jurasits had a team-leading eight points for visiting Morris (6-20, 0-10) in the Northern Illinois Big 12 East.
Men’s Basketball
Lewis 63, Southern Indiana 59: Ryan Jackson scored 20 points and Nick Valla added 18 to lead visiting Lewis (13-7, 7-5) in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Women’s Basketball
Southern Indiana 68, Lewis 55: Labrenthia Murdock had 13 points and six rebounds for visiting Lewis (16-4, 9-3) in the GLVC. Mariyah Henley added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Flyers.
