Brennen Shetina, of Coal City, is the Herald-News Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Shetina totaled 45 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for the week. He hit the game-winning shot as the buzzer sounded in a 46-44 victory Friday over Lisle. He scored 20 points against Lisle, 18 coming in the second half. Shetina also was 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter in a win over Peotone.
