Girls Basketball
Class A Bradley Regional
Minooka 50, Normal Community 49 (OT): Larissa McLemen netted 14 points and Erin Heide scored 12 to power Minooka (13-17) in the semifinal.
Class 4A Yorkville Regional
No. 2 Bolingbrook 96, Plainfield North 27: Kristen Moore had 21 points and eight rebounds to help Bolingbrook (21-5) advance to the championship. Kennedy Cattenhead tacked on 14 points and five rebounds for the Raiders. Carlie Corrigan scored nine points for Plainfield North (13-14).
Men’s Basketball
St. Francis 67, Indiana-South Bend 62 (OT): Chris Miller’s 23 points sparked visiting St. Francis (19-10, 15-8) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Women’s Basketball
Indiana-South Bend 78, St. Francis 71: Katie Gonnering scored a team-high 20 points for visiting St. Francis (13-15, 12-9) in the CCAC.
Joliet Junior College 59, Milwaukee Tech 44: Alana Warren had 20 points and five steals for host Joliet Junior College (10-16, 6-3). Brianna Marble added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Wolves in the Region IV game.
