Class 1A Wilmington Sectional

Lisle 33, Peotone 31: Peotone came up short in the semifinal.

Class 3A Bloomington Sectional

Lincoln-Way Central 28, Edwardsville 25: Brendan Ditchman (182 pounds) won by decision in the final match to help Lincoln-Way Central advance to the state quarterfinals.

Boys Basketball

No. 1 Lemont 89, Glenbard South 58: Mike Wisz contributed 29 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots for visiting Lemont (23-2). David Czupta chipped in 13 points for the Indians, while Erick Rydberg posted nine rebounds and five assists.

No. 2 Bolingbrook 57, No. 5 Joliet Central 42: Ben Moore totaled 15 points and seven rebounds to spark visiting Bolingbrook (18-7, 9-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Kenny Williams tacked on 13 points and six rebounds for the Raiders. Jalen Heath had 15 points to lead Joliet Central (12-13, 7-6).

No. 3 Joliet West 74, Sandburg 51: Carl Terrell and Morris Dunnigan netted 17 points apiece for host Joliet West (16-7, 9-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Ryan Modiest added 16 points for the Tigers.

Ottawa 65, No. 6 Morris 52: Austin Patterson scored 16 points and Jason Matteson added 10 to guide visiting Morris (15-10) in the Northern Illinois Big 12 crossover.

Thornridge 64, Lincoln-Way West 51: Hayden Witt tossed in a game-high 24 points for visiting Lincoln-Way West (2-24, 1-12) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Lockport 39, Lincoln-Way East 37: Grover Anderson finished with 13 points and John Campbell had 12 to spearhead visiting Lockport (8-17, 6-7) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Lincoln-Way East slipped to 9-15, 3-10.

Plainfield Central 64, Shepard 55: Logan Velasquez scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to show the way for host Plainfield Central. The Wildcats also received 14 points from Curtis Harrington and 13 from Mitch Young.

Homewood-Flossmoor 69, Lincoln-Way Central 52: Brad Bass poured in a team-best 12 points for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (9-17, 1-12) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Class 1A Iroquois West Regional

Iroquois West 55, Gardner-South Wilmington 44: Kyle Robison (13 points) and Tristan Noonan (10) were the primary scorers for Gardner-South Wilmington in the quarterfinal.

Class 2A Reed-Custer Regional

Beecher 68, Dwight 53: Blake Huseman scored 18 points for Dwight (11-17) in quarterfinal play.
