Boys Basketball: Tuesday supersectional, sectional semis postponed

Boys basketball sectional semifinals scheduled for Tuesday at Rich South, St. Laurence and Thornton have been postponed because of to a weather forecast calling for heavy snow.
Also postponed was a scheduled Class 2A Supersectional at Joliet Central.
The postponements will shift Tuesday games to Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and games originally set for Wednesday to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
All sectional finals remain scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
At Class 3A Rich South, Rich East (19-6) and Coal City (19-12), scheduled for Tuesday, will play Wednesday. The other semifinal at Rich South between Hillcrest (22-6) and Providence (15-13) will be played Thursday.
At Class 3A St. Laurence, Morgan Park (28-3) and Fenger (16-8) shifts to Wednesday. The other semi between Harlan and Perspectives-Calumet moves to Thursday.
At Class 4A Thornton, Joliet West (19-7) vs. Marian Catholic (27-3) will be played Wednesday, with Bloom vs. Stagg shifting to Thursday.
The Class 2A Joliet Central Supersectional between Seton (21-10) and Providence-St. Mel (25-5) also has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
