Batavia 26-30, Bolingbrook 24-28: Krissa Gearring had 16 kills and seven digs for host Bolingbrook (0-1).
Joliet West 25-25, Romeoville 12-17: Gemma Cronin had 15 assists and Elexis Coleman added seven kills to pace visiting Joliet West (1-0). Nicoletta Crowley finished with three assists for Romeoville (0-1).
Gardner-South Wilmington 25-25, Reed-Custer 21-11: Breann Fisher’s six kills powered visiting Gardner-South Wilmington (1-0). Michalene Collier had five kills and Paige Marquart tacked on five assists for Reed-Custer (0-1).
Lincoln-Way West 0, Illiana Christian 0: Tony Prospero garnered the shutout for host Lincoln-Way West in its first match of the season.
Lincoln-Way East 3, Brother Rice 0: Alan Hernandez scored twice off assists from Sean Sibley in helping host Lincoln-Way East capture the season opener for both teams. Sean McGovern made five saves in recording the shutout.
Lockport 2, Minooka 1: Vince Smithwick and Rafa Chavez netted goals for host Lockport (1-0). Giacomo Raimondi scored for Minooka (0-1).
Reed-Custer 6, Iroquois West 1: Nick Murphy and Kenny Lebeda each scored twice to lift host Reed-Custer (1-0).
Plainfield East 0, Joliet Catholic 0: Aaron Markley had the shutout for host Joliet Catholic (0-0-1).

Romeoville 3, Thornton co-op 2 (OT): Goals by Danny Ibarra, Christian Duarte and Danny Martinez spurred host Romeoville (1-0).
Bolingbrook 7, Providence 0: Hugo Lopez had a goal and three assists in starring for host Bolingbrook (1-0).
Joliet Township co-op 154, Andrew 170: Trent Wallace and Trevor Brodeur shared medalist honors with 38s in guiding Joliet Township co-op in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Silver Lake’s Rolling Hills Course in Orland Park.
Homewood-Flossmoor quadrangular: Matt Contey led all golfers with a 35 as Lincoln-Way East (148) topped SouthWest Suburban foes Sandburg (156), Homewood-Flossmoor (166) and Lincoln-Way West (176) at Ravisloe in Homewood.
Andrew 212, Bolingbrook 217: Bolingbrook’s Morgan Schultz (47) was the medalist in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Silver Lake’s Rolling Hills Course.
Plainfield South 201, Plainfield East 234: Medalist Alexis Catalano shot a 42 to lead Plainfield South in the Southwest Prairie meet at Carillon.
Minooka 202, Romeoville 247: Alex Renison, of Minooka, was the medalist by virtue of her 49 in the Southwest Prairie dual at Prairie Bluff.
Plainfield North 5, Lincoln-Way West 2: Sam Sayre won her match at No. 2 singles for host Lincoln-Way West.
Lincoln-Way East 4, Joliet Catholic 3: Catie Delia won the deciding match at No. 3 singles to lift visiting Lincoln-Way East.
Lockport triangular: Amanda Moran won the 50-yard freestyle (25.44 seconds) and 100 freestyle (54.14) in helping Lockport (109 points) finish second behind Wheaton co-op (115). Caroline Kelly prevailed in the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 10.11 seconds) for third-place Plainfield co-op (101).
Crimson Wave Fall Preview: St. Francis’ Daniel Frantz finished seventh with a two-day total of 154 in Crown Point. His performance helped the Saints (640) take third out of seven squads in the tournament hosted by Calumet College.
