Lemont 25-25, Hillcrest 10-8: Kelly Ferguson’s five kills and Haley Sullivan’s six digs sparked host Lemont (2-0) in the South Suburban Blue opener for both teams.
Plainfield East 25-25, Proviso East 13-20: Kelly Grba and Allison Bowbin each posted seven assists for visiting Plainfield East (1-0). The Bengals also received eight kills from Mackenzie Walsh and 12 digs from Aliea Tripp.
Gardner-South Wilmington 25-25, Wilmington 21-18: Emily Foley dished out seven assists and Bryanna DeMoraes had five kills for visiting Gardner-South Wilmington (2-0). Madeline McDonnell totaled seven assists for Wilmington (0-1) and Theresa Homerding had six digs.
Grant Park 25-21-25, Peotone 18-25-16: Rachel McBride had 15 assists and Anissa Bennett added 10 service points to lead host Peotone (0-2). Erica Freudinger tacked on seven kills for the Blue Devils.
Plainfield East 4, Marmion 3: Ryan Olans had two goals to boost host Plainfield East (1-0-2).
Serena 2, Coal City 0: Chase Mincey made 10 saves for host Coal City (0-1).
Wilmington 4, Reed-Custer 3 (OT): Kenny Lebeda netted a hat trick for host Reed-Custer (1-1, 0-1) in the Interstate Eight opener for both squads.

Morris 4, Lisle 1: Luke Rodriguez contributed two goals and an assist for Morris (1-0) in Earlville. Ricardo Del Toro and Salvador Villanueva also scored for the Redskins.

Providence 5, Oak Lawn 0: P.J. Kowalkowski scored twice to set the tone for Providence (1-1) in the consolation bracket at Bolingbrook.
Joliet Central 2, U-High 1: Goals by Sergio Clavel and Giovanni Vivas propelled Joliet Central (1-1) at Reavis.
Kennedy 2, Romeoville 1 (SO): Eric Ibarra scored in regulation for host Romeoville, which lost 5-4 in the penalty-kick shootout.
Lincoln-Way East 150, Stagg 176: Jake White, of Lincoln-Way East, was the medalist after carding a 35 in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Green Garden.
Lincoln-Way Central 158, Joliet Township co-op 161: Tony Kestel posted a team-best 36 for Lincoln-Way Central in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at The Sanctuary. Trent Wallace, of Joliet Township co-op, fired a 33 in securing medalist accolades.
Lemont 164, Argo 244: Lemont’s Joe Ziebell (39) had the best score in the South Suburban crossover at Broken Arrow.
Illiana Christian 160, Peotone 182: Kyle Gomolski fired a 44 to lead Peotone at Green Garden’s Emerald Course.
Dwight 186, Momence 210: Nathan Zabel and Ryan Folkers posted rounds of 46 to lead Dwight at South Shore Country Club in Kankakee.
Lincoln-Way Central 189, Minooka 197: Lincoln-Way Central’s Clara Scheer was the medalist by virtue of her 42 at Heritage Bluffs.
Lincoln-Way East 185, Joliet Township co-op 214: Medalist Kelly Sterling (40) led Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Green Garden.
Minooka 6, Joliet West co-op 1: Janile Rogers (No.1) and Lilly Benig (No. 2) posted singles wins for host Minooka (1-0).
Lincoln-Way West 5, Crete-Monee 0: Katie Kaczmarz prevailed at top-seeded singles for host Lincoln-Way West.
Homewood-Flossmoor 107, Lincoln-Way Central 79: Lincoln-Way Central’s Kim Bernhard won the 100-yard freestyle (55.84 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1 minute, 3.70 seconds) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Elizabeth Senese added victories in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.19) and 200 individual medley (2:25.04) for the visiting Knights.
