Bolingbrook’s defense bent at times but never broke as it allowed just two field goals en route to the nonconference road win.
Leading 10-6 at halftime, Bolingbrook was able to force a three-and-out on Hinsdale Central’s first possession of the second half. A bad punt allowed the Raiders to take over on the Red Devils’ 45 and eight plays later, quarterback Quincy Woods scored on a 20-yard run with 5:49 to play in the third.
Bolingbrook running back Jaden Huff rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. The senior had 115 yards in the first half.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Raiders frustrated Hinsdale Central quarterback Chase Hamilton all night long. The 6-foot-2 senior completed just 5-of-23 passes for 55 yards and an interception.
“We love to be the underdog. I’d like to stay that way the whole season until the playoffs. I love when people doubt us. We like to prove them wrong, which we did today.” — Huff
