Football: Romeoville turnovers costly in 31-13 loss to Oswego

Oswego sophomore quarterback Steven Frank threw three touchdown passes to lead the Panthers (2-2, 1-1) over Romeoville (2-2, 1-1) in a Southwest Prairie Conference game. Frank connected on throws of 55, 39 and 36 yards.
Romeoville committed four costly turnovers, all interceptions, that stopped drives and led to two Oswego scores that put the Panthers ahead 12-0 in the first quarter.
Frank completed 10 passes for 223 yards. Oswego receiver Zachery West hauled in 55- and 36-yard scoring passes from Frank. Oswego linebacker Bryce Holm intercepted two passes. Romeoville’s Miguel Ford scored one of the Spartans’ touchdowns on a 21-yard run in the fourth quarter.
