Gardner-South Wilmington 23-25-25, Dwight 25-19-20: Emily Foley chalked up 17 digs and 13 assists in sparking host Gardner-South Wilmington (10-5). Lexi Posing tacked on eight kills and eight digs for the Panthers.
Joliet West 3, Providence 1: Jesus Gutierrez contributed two goals and an assist to lift visiting Joliet West (4-6-4). Isaiah Hailey also scored for the Tigers. Justin Alberico had the goal for Providence (2-13).
Minooka 6, Joliet Catholic 1: Giacomo Raimondi and Matt Dlugopolski each scored twice for host Minooka (7-4-2).
Naperville North 3, Joliet Central 0: Daniel Hidalgo made six saves for host Joliet Central (4-7).
Morris 3, Princeton 3: Ricardo Del Toro contributed one goal and one assist to spur visiting Morris (10-0-4, 3-0-1). Nick Borgstrom added two assists for the Redskins, whose other goals were scored by Nestor Rodriguez and Salvador Villanueva.
Southwest Prairie Tournament: Kent Hudson (74) and Jason Chobar (76) were second and third, respectively, in guiding Minooka (308) to the team crown at Prairie Bluff. Medalist Tyler Hollingshaus carded a 1-under 71 in helping Plainfield North (314) finish second. Oswego (327), Oswego East (339) and Plainfield South (349) were next in the eight-team meet.
Lockport 181, Oak Forest 198: Jackie Pytko (42), of Oak Forest, had the best round at Dunne National in Oak Forest.
East Suburban Catholic Tournament: Providence’s Alyssa Newling carded an 82 in tying for third at Village Greens in Woodridge. Her performance helped the Celtics (360) finish third in the nine-team invitational won by Carmel (344). Dana Gattone (73), of St. Viator, was the medalist.
Interstate Eight Tournament: Sarah Maddox, of Reed-Custer, shot a 91 in finishing third at Dwight Country Club. Sandwich (406) was first in the team standings behind individual runner-up Ashley Guilinger (88). Rylie Loux (83) was the medalist in leading Plano (414) to second place.
Providence 3, Lockport 2: Elise Morris’s win at No. 2 singles propelled host Providence.
NCAA Midwest Regional No. 1: Lewis (597) was seventh out of 27 teams at Harborside in Chicago. Robert Dofflemyer III (147) was 17th in the two-day meet, one place ahead of teammate Ryan Frederick (148).
Midwest Shootout: Lewis’ Rachel Sweeney (157) was fifth in the two-day tournament in Waterloo. The Flyers (661) were sixth in the eight-team meet won by Rockhurst and Southern Indiana (635 each).
