Class 2A Bishop McNamara Regional: Joliet Catholic (345) won first place behind medalist Dyllan Mattea, who carded an 80 at Kankakee Elks in St. Anne. Kellen McCullum (83) and Brandon Smith (85) were among the other contributors for the Hilltoppers, who bested fellow state qualifiers Lincoln-Way West (353) and Morris (359). Sean Knights paced Lincoln-Way West with an 84, while Nick McPherson (87) guided Morris. Reed-Custer’s Tyler Allen (85) headed the list of at-large qualifiers to the state tournament.
Class 1A Putnam Country Regional: Seneca teammates Ben Rohder (86) and Alex Bott (87) qualified for the state tournament on an individual basis. Beecher (345) won the team crown at Edgewood in McNabb.
Class 1A Streator Woodland Regional: Karsen Kopman’s 92 led Dwight co-op (378) to victory over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (378) and Iroquois West (380) at Pontiac Elks. Ryan Folkers and Seth Galloway added rounds of 95 for the Trojans.
Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Thornwood 14-8: Mariel Leibovitz had 18 assists and Maria Brown had 11 kills to propel host Lincoln-Way Central (15-5, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Plainfield East 25-25, Minooka 10-13: Briana McGee had eight kills and Kelly Grba added nine assists to spark visiting Plainfield East (11-11, 4-5) in the Southwest Prairie. Ginger Perinar and Skyler Day contributed four kills apiece for Minooka (10-6, 6-3), which also received eight digs from Natalie Yard.
Plainfield South 25-25, Romeoville 14-10: Alyssa O’Boyle posted 12 assists, nine service points and seven aces for host Plainfield South (6-14, 2-7) in the Southwest Prairie. Deysha Thompson added seven kills for the Cougars. Kurin Czerwin provided three aces for Romeoville (3-22, 0-9).
Plainfield Central 25-18-26, Plainfield North 19-25-24: Elizabeth Hyland’s 12 kills paved the way for host Plainfield Central (12-13, 5-4). Ashley Shook tacked on six kills and three digs for the Wildcats in the Southwest Prairie. Kate Federico had 37 assists for Plainfield North (22-3, 8-1) and Kaitlyn Fisher chipped in 14 kills.
Lockport 25-23-25, Joliet West 21-25-19: Kayla Pfeiffer finished with 12 assists, seven kills and six blocks to catapult visiting Lockport (12-7, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Lindsey Visvardis added 21 digs for the Porters and Sarah Kurzawski had nine kills.
Lemont 25-25, Bremen 12-17: Cara Howell had five kills and Natalie Schwem 11 assists to lead visiting Lemont (11-25, 10-1) in the South Suburban Blue.
Joliet Catholic 25-25, Providence 12-17: Mary Murphy had 17 assists and Madeline Grimm had eight kills for host Joliet Catholic (14-7, 3-2) in the East Suburban Catholic.
Lincoln-Way East 17-25-25, Homewood-Flossmoor 25-16-22: Jessica Lindsey (12 kills) and Macie Lawrence (17 digs) directed visiting Lincoln-Way East (11-9, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Morris 25-26-25, Streator 11-28-9: Taya Torkelson passed out 30 assists and Kaylin Korte drilled 10 kills to propel host Morris (13-9-1, 3-3) in the Northern Illinois Big 12. JoAnna Nowicki and Abby Baker added seven kills apiece for the Redskins.
Herscher 25-25, Peotone 14-15: Anissa Bennett posted seven assists and four service points for host Peotone in the Interstate Eight South.

Wilmington 25-25, Reed-Custer 14-23: Madeline McDonnell had 13 assists to pace host Wilmington (12-13, 6-1) in the Interstate Eight South. Sunny Winkler (12 kills) and Nicole Neagle (11 service points) also starred for the Wildcats.
Coal City 25-25, Lisle 22-18: Kassie Aldridge registered 18 assists and eight digs for visiting Coal City (14-7, 7-0) in the Interstate Eight North. Emily Halliday added 10 kills and nine digs for the Coalers.
Lemont 4, Tinley Park 2: Teddy Trifunovski netted a hat trick to spur visiting Lemont (10-7-2, 8-2) in the South Suburban Blue.
Providence 2, St. Laurence 1: Goals by Kevin Sullivan and Kevin Moriarty lifted visiting Providence (4-16, 3-3) in the Catholic League South.
Thornton co-op 4, Lincoln-Way Central 1: Tyler Massa had the goal for host Lincoln-Way Central (4-9-4, 0-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Morris 7, Plainfield East 0: Megan Davy won at top-seeded singles for host Morris (10-3).
Providence 3, Plainfield North 2: Kelly Ruane’s victory at No. 1 singles made the difference for Providence (18-6) in New Lenox.
Stagg 4, Lincoln-Way Central 3: Jana Mudrock and Marlee McCabe won at No. 2 doubles for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (10-8, 4-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Lemont 4, Tinley Park 1: Carli Serpe won her match at No. 2 singles to aid host Lemont (8-6, 5-1) in the South Suburban Blue.
IIT 2, St. Francis 1: Christian Ontiveros scored a goal in the 22nd minute for host St. Francis (2-6).
Lewis 25-25-25-25, Wisconsin-Parkside 23-25-15-16: Kim Vertin’s 19 kills and 15 digs sparked visiting Lewis (11-4, 7-0) in the Great Lakes Valley. The Flyers also received 47 assists from Leigh Barnes, 17 kills from Alexis Davito and 17 digs from Nicole Yuede.
Trinity Christian 25-25-25, St. Francis 21-21-21: Danielle Conrad chalked up 16 assists and Megan Mowery spiked eight kills to lead St. Francis (15-7, 6-2) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletics Conference. Brittany Showalter (15 assists) and Breanne Shaw (15 digs) also starred for the Saints, who lost at home for the first time in 18 matches.
