Plainfield North 25-25, Plainfield East 22-20: Kate Federico set up 29 assists and Dakota Santore put away nine kills as host Plainfield North (30-3, 11-1) reached the 30-win plateau for the first time in school history. Allie Lindroth tacked on seven kills for the Tigers in the Southwest Prairie. Allison Bowbin dished out six assists and MacKenzi Welsh added six kills for Plainfield East (11-14, 4-7).
Providence 25-25, St. Viator 21-17: Rachel Alles totaled 13 assists and seven kills to guide host Providence (17-11, 4-3) in the East Suburban Catholic. Allie Marthaler (11 digs) and Maggie Turk (10 assists) also starred for the Celtics.
Oswego 25-25, Plainfield South 21-18: Jordan McNeill chalked up eight digs, five service points and four kills to boost visiting Plainfield South (6-17, 2-10). Alyssa O’Boyle added eight assists for the Cougars in the Southwest Prairie.
Homewood-Flossmoor 25-25, Joliet Central 20-20: Annalise Robinson put up 11 assists and Skylar Hildebrand had 17 digs to spearhead visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (20-8, 2-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Joliet Central fell to 12-20, 1-4.
Minooka 33-25-25, Plainfield Central 35-22-19: Skyler Day compiled 16 kills, 10 digs and four blocks to power host Minooka (13-6, 9-3) in the Southwest Prairie. Kelly Clucas added 25 assists for the Indians, who also received 23 digs from Natalie Yard and 12 kills from Ginger Perinar. Elizabeth Hyland garnered 12 kills and 13 digs for Plainfield Central (16-13, 7-5). Addison Taylor added 22 digs for the Wildcats.
Herscher 25-28, Wilmington 19-26: Sunny Winkler had six kills and 10 digs for visiting Wilmington (13-17, 7-2) in the Interstate Eight South. Madeline McDonnell added eight assists for the Wildcats.
Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Thornridge 7-4: Emily Dobczyk piled up 11 assists and Val Diesel added five digs for visiting Lincoln-Way Central (21-7, 4-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Illinois Lutheran 25-25, Gardner-South Wilmington 21-21: Emily Foley (8 assists) and Bryanna DeMoraes (5 kills) were among the standouts for visiting Gardner-South Wilmington (11-9, 4-5) in the River Valley.
Coal City 25-25, Seneca 19-22: Emily Halliday’s nine kills and 11 digs helped visiting Coal City (17-7, 9-0) win first place in the Interstate Eight North. Kayla Haines had 11 assists and six kills for Seneca (21-6-1, 6-3).
