Class 2A Providence Regional
Providence 3, Illiana Christian 2 (SO): Patrick Kowalkowski’s shootout goal lifted Providence (5-18) in the semifinal round. Kevin Sullivan scored in regulation for the Celtics and teammate John Barrett added a goal in the second overtime.
Class 3A Joliet Central Regional
Minooka 2, Bradley 1: Goals by Mason Messina and Giacomo Raimondi enabled Minooka (11-6-2) to advance to the championship.
Normal Community 4, Joliet West 0: Eddie Plesha, Brandon Lam, Grant Donath and Gerardio Bucio were the goal scorers for Normal Community (16-5-2) in the semifinal. Joliet West closed 6-12-4.
Seneca 25-25, Wilmington 10-14: Madison Wyss totaled 17 assists and nine service points to spark host Seneca (27-6-1) in the Interstate Eight crossover. Kayla Haines added nine service points, seven kills, seven assists and five digs for the Irish. Theresa Homerding (7 digs) and Madeline McDonnell (6 assists) led Wilmington (14-18).
Reed-Custer 22-25-26, Sandwich 25-14-24: Haley Richey notched 25 digs to key visiting Reed-Custer in the Interstate Eight crossover. Vanessa VanDuyne added seven kills for the Comets and Breanne Walski put up 13 assists.
St. Francis 6, Holy Cross 0: Brooke Polus tied a school record by scoring four goals for host St. Francis (9-5, 4-3) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
St. Francis 25-25-25, Calumet 15-19-14: Laura Willis smashed 12 kills and Danielle Conrad distributed 26 assists to lead visiting St. Francis (23-9, 9-2) in the CCAC.
