Rich Central 66, Joliet West 35: Vicky Orasco scored 12 points for Joliet West (0-2) and Lanita Hinton added 10 in the second-round tilt.
Beecher Tournament
Coal City 42, Bremen 18: Emily Halliday contributed 14 points for Coal City in its season opener.
Peotone 59, St. Anne 53: Caitlin Cann scored 18 points to lead Peotone (2-1) in the opening round.
IMSA Tournament
Wheaton-St. Francis 48, Reed-Custer 35: Reed-Custer (0-2) came up short in the second-round game.
Gibson City/Fisher Tournament
Fisher 48, Dwight 36: Kiley Colebank had nine points and four rebounds for Dwight (1-3) in the fifth-place game.
Lexington Tournament
Gardner-South Wilmington 39, Deer Creek-Mackinaw 36: Chelsea Schultz had 15 points, six rebounds and five steals to guide Gardner-South Wilmington (2-1) in the second-round game. Katie Gretz added 10 points for the Panthers and Kailyn Schultz pulled down 13 rebounds.
Pontiac Tournament
Ottawa 56, Joliet Catholic 51: Joliet Catholic (1-2) lost the third-round game.
Richards Tournament
No. 2 Lincoln-Way East 58, T.F. South 28: Taylor Johnson netted 16 points to pace Lincoln-Way East (3-0) in the semifinal. The Griffins also received 11 points from Caitlin McMahon and 10 from Meaghan McMahon.
Somonauk Tournament
No. 5 Seneca 29, Somonauk 23: Coley Baker totaled 13 points and 12 rebounds for Seneca (2-2) in its tournament finale.
Non-Tournament
No. 4 Minooka 40, Lincoln-Way Central 30: Sara Placher and Ashley Clemmons netted 13 and 12 points, respectively, for host Minooka (1-0). Rachel Post scored 11 points for Lincoln-Way Central (1-1).
Men’s Basketball
Allegheny County (Pa.) Tournament
Joliet Junior College 77, Allegheny County (Pa.) 58: Cory Proctor scored 25 points to pace Joliet Junior College (3-1) to the second-round win in Pittsburgh. Jon Bartlett, a Lincoln-Way East product, added 24 points for the Wolves.
